PARTNERSHIP FOR SUSTAINABILITY EVENT

The Bathroom Manufacturers Association is hosting its upcoming Sustainability Forum via an online events space to ensure international attendees can get involved.

Taking place on Monday next week (Mar 1), from 9am to 2pm, the live forum will be hosted on Hopin, an online events platform designed to connect people around the world.

It has been made possible thanks to the virtual event solutions service of Focus Creative Media, who is supporting the Sustainability Forum.

BMA’s Sustainability Forum will explore three environment-related issues – where do bathrooms fit in to the national retrofit strategy; reducing the environmental impact of global logistics and supply chains; and can the bathroom sector have ambitious net zero targets?

BMA Chief Executive, Tom Reynolds, said: “We want people to feel involved and comfortable at the event, able to network and join in.

“The Sustainability Forum was established last year with a clear purpose to meet other people and exchange ideas, so we jumped at the chance to host it via Hopin, thanks to Focus Creative Media.

“It is the next best thing to an in-person event, and I know there is a unique approach to meeting new people which I’m looking forward to trying myself.

Adam Sadler, Digital Manager for Focus Creative Media, said: “We’re delighted to be supporting the BMA in their next Sustainability Forum and also to have the opportunity to showcase our virtual events service to the bathroom industry.

“We have seen over the past year how vital it is for businesses to stay connected, and we believe virtual events are playing a key part in helping industry thrive.”
